Gina Massaro has been working in the plastic surgery field for 4 years. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of our practice and is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Gina manages all scheduling of appointments and surgery. She also handles all insurance coordination, surgery quotations and financial policies. As an addition, she has experience in cosmetology, makeup, and skin care. Gina understands the importance of patient satisfaction and will make your wishes or concerns in plastic surgery a high priority.

Kelly Heffernan, RN, MSN, FNP-BC Kelly is our Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a staple to our practice. She works Saturdays at our office specializing in non-invasive cosmetic treatments and facial rejuvenation. Kelly attended Sage Graduate school where she received a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. In addition, she also attended Plattsburgh State University where she received a bachelor in Science and Nursing degree. Kelly has extensive knowledge in the medical field. She has previously worked as a nursing supervisor, a Family Nurse Practitioner in a private practice, and a staff nurse in critical care and pediatrics. Kelly now also works as a Field Clinical Specialist with Merz Aesthetics, known for Radiesse injectable filler. Kelly is passionate about her work and strives to meet her patients needs. Janet Prediletto, Licensed Esthetician, LPN Janet is our licensed esthetician at K Plastic Surgery. She attended the Christine Valmy Aesthetic School and her passion grew for the industry. Janet taught as an instructor for Christine Valmy, supervising practical aesthetics, and teaching theory. She then worked for a dermatology office for 7 years and managed a medical spa. Janet has had extensive training in the esthetics field, including advanced training at the Matis Institute in Paris, France. As an added benefit, Janet is also a licensed practical nurse knowledgeable in medical grade skincare. Saamra Newberry, Medical Technician Saamra began working for K Plastic Surgery in Spring of 2011. She assists Dr. Kayastha in examinations and during surgical in-office procedures. Saamra previously worked as a Patient Care Technician at St. Peter’s Hospital in the Express Admissions Unit. She attended Schenectady County Community College and received an Associates Degree in Science and Computer Science. Saamra also is working towards her Cosmetology license at Paul Mitchell the school Schenectady. Saamra aims to meet patients needs and make them feel comfortable while in our office.
Jenelle Mahar, Reception Jenelle began working for K Plastic Surgery in winter of 2011. She answers the incoming phone calls and assists patients in scheduling. Jenelle attended Branford Hall Career Institute and graduated in 2010 with a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. Jenelle is most likely the first person you will talk to on the phone and first to see in the office. She is always available to answer questions you may have regarding plastic surgery, billing, or insurance.
